Weekend efforts

I busted my ass this weekend to put that truck back together. I had to press new bushings and bearings into the springs, put the springs back under the truck. Then I got the axle and bolted it back and put the brakes and wheels back on. This will put me in compliance with part about having the axles properly supported. I had to buy parts at Oreilly's and I ran into some people who told me a few things. It seems they got some new bitch at city hall in one of their damn zoning or whatever. Seems she is driving around looking for stuff to write people up for, trying to make a name for herself. I got a name for the bitch. Don't know who she is, but I got a pretty good idea what she is.

I gotta admit, that courtesy notice they sent........that's nicest damned threat to throw my ass in jail I have ever received. The way the one truck, the black one was sitting, you couldn't have known if it was licensed or not without physically trespassing on my property to look. So there must be some truth to what I heard at Oreilly's. Any lawyers from the ACLU reading this, and want to take Chillicothe's money?

Next weekend....the engine goes in, the fenders go back on, so from the road the truck don't look so bad, and perhaps the SOB's will get off my ass so I can make improvements on my house.

Once again, they wanna throw my ass in jail

It seems the city fathers have some objection to my trucks. I guess the nail that sticks up is the one that gets pounded down. The irony is if they had just left me the hell alone I would have resolved the situation. Let us analyze for a moment. What happened was a female enforcer (woman cop, certainly not a lady) came and pounded on my door like she was trying to tear the damned door down. (intimidation tactic here) The message was delivered by said cop instead of US mail (intimidation tactic here) The cop was coarse in manner (intimidation tactic here) Now notice the threats in the text. Basically the message is "lose the trucks or we're gonna throw your ass in jail" My reply......."Fuck You where the sun don't shine"

Oh, well that is the way of government. This country is about 100 years too late for an armed insurrection. Think about it. Jefferson himself admitted armed insurrection was necessary from time to time to keep government in line. Otherwise government will keep you in line. Here's my reply to Scott Washburn:

My dear Mr Washburn

I did recive a notice from a lady police enforcer, who may have damaged my door by banging on it so hard, about the vehicles on my property. These are trucks in the process of being restored. I am now rewiring the one and have an engine ready to install in the other.

I have always had a truck or two sitting in back. Since July of 1992. Why do you choose to harass me now. Is it because you think I am poor and therefore an easy target? While constitutionally, I have a right to face my accuser, that's all dead in this day and age. The constitution is no longer enforced therefore there is no law, only a struggle for survival. These are my thoughts on the matter.

It would have been tremendously helpful if you had enclosed a copy of the ordnance you say I am in violation of so that I may have a better idea of what my options are. Obviously both trucks will not fit in my garage, as there is a '49 Chevy half ton in there that I recently sandblasted and primed. I restore trucks and tractors and motorcycles and houses. It's my hobby. This is how I pursue happiness, and I don't appreciate government stepping in, ordering me about on property I own lock stock and barrel with no debt against it and for which I have paid taxes for the "privelege" of owning said property. It would also have helped since the notice was dated June 7 if it had been delivered in the morning instead of evening, in effect giving me nine days instead of ten.


Here is what I intend to do:

1. I will put historic license on both vehicles. I have title for the red one and can probably have it licensed within a week, as no inspection is required for historic license. This will make me in compliance because from what I saw in your notice, this only applies to unlicensed vehicles. The black truck I will license with historic plates as well. I am working with a lawyer to obtain title and so I must ask for an extension, that is to say, I am attempting to comply, but there is a very good possibility I will need more than ten days. What say you?

2. During the ten day periond I will fly from my porch the flag of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic in protest. If a man owns what he's got, he ought to have a right to do as he sees fit with it as long as he harms no one. I work two jobs and my time is limited. I had plans to put up a fence and a carport, I contacted city hall to ask about ordnances for such and got no reply. In my opinion, this city, state, and nation are more communist than free and there is more liberty, more freedom in Russia than there is here. The flag goes up tomorrow

Needless to say, diplomatic relations are strained, and I have to spend the weekend fixing up the trucks and getting tires back under the axles and axles under the springs and springs under the frame. I have a plan if worst comes to worst. Total noncooperation. No eating, no drink, make them carry you wherever they want you, in short, cause the enemy to expend assets to the maximum possible degree. Ours is a war of attrition. Violence is unnecessary. The enemy does not have unlimited means and the more he expends assets, the further in debt he goes. All we have to do is refuse to fund the enemy refuse to cooperate with the enemy. Make no mistake, the war on this and the war on that is a war on the american people and since we are the enemy, "they" are our enemy.
